Akaa-Volley had visitors from Raisio in Saturday evening. Raision Loimu is the most experienced of all the teams in the highest level of volleyball in Finland. But, the history is not a guarantee of the success of today. This was seen in Akaa Areena today when Akaa-Volley won Loimu by 3-0 (25-21,25-18,25-16).
Akaa-Volley is preparing for the final of Finnish Cup in the coming weekend. The match against Loimu was the final step toward the coming cup-final against Hurrikaani Loimaa.
I am happy of our performance. We have trained well and all players are ready for the coming weekend, said the coach Olli Kunnari.
Thus, we all wait the cup-final excitedtly. There are some 200 Akaa-Volley fans travelling to Turku to support the team.
