Our new opposite, Jaylen Jasper arrived two weeks ago. So far, everything has gone without problems in the new home town. All training facilities are good, coaches are professionals and the spirit in the team is fine.
- Very good vibes about Akaa, said Jaylen when I met him in Toijala harbour last weekend.
25-year old professional volleyball player will continue his career as long as he enjoys playing and his body stands hard training and playing.
- I do have the university degree in sports psychology. Thus, later on I could earn my living as a therapist. But, I am interested in yoga and all kind of physical training as well. So, why not to work as personal trainer in the future. Let us see.
Jaylen said that he is excited to experience the Finnish winter. He is coming from Los Angeles and dark and cold days without sun shine will be quite different from the days back home. He looked terrified when I told him about the possibility to have a swim in the lake in winter – but I am sure he will test it!
