Playoffs are just around the corner. The teams have 2 to 4 matches to go before the important moments of the season will start.
On Monday evening, we had visitors from the eastern part of Finland. Savo Volley is on the third position in the league and it had been very difficult opponent to us during the winter. Anyhow, this time one of their key players the outside hitter Michael Michelau was not along. Maybe that was one of the reasons Akaa-Volley took three points by winning 3-0 (25-23,25-13,25-22).
All Akaa-Volley players had a strong evening. Jaylen Jasper made 14/+11 and attacking by 69 % efficiency. Spencer Olivier had 12/+8 (75 % ! ). Niklas Seppänen's statistics shows 9/+5, Petteri Tyynismaa made 8/+6 and Antti Taponen 5/+4.
Libero Joel Andersson was awarded as the MVP of our team. He has already secured the win of the PRO Libero contest of the season. Congratulations!
