It looks like the two teams might fight for the Finnish championship like last spring. One year ago Hurrikaani was much more hungry for the gold medal and took the finals by 4-0. Now, we do have a more equal situation and we can wait for an interesting set of finals.
Ok, there are still some five to six rounds to play until we will have the play-offs on-going. And of course, all the other teams have the possibilities to come along. But so far, it looks like we'll have the finals between Akaa-Volley and Hurrikaani Loimaa this spring as well. Who knows? For example, VaLePa and Savo-Volley have been improving all the time.
This Saturday, Jaylen Jasper made once again most of the points for Akaa-Volley. His statistics shows 25/+19. Anyhow, the most efficient was the middle blocker Petteri Tyynismaa by 15/+12. Jasper was really sharp in blocking today: totally six points!
Hurrikaani Loimaa is known for the very strong service. On Saturday, they served 10 aces. Luckily, Akaa-Volley has the libero called Joel Andersson. In spite of the strong service by Hurrikaani, Joel's reception was 62 % accurate!
