In the last season, Akaa-Volley went all the way in the semifinals in CEV Challenge Cup. This autumn has started in so positive atmosphere and performance that the same (at least) will come true in the coming months as well.
Today, Akaa-Volley won Panvita Pomgrad by 3-0 (25-19, 25-16, 25-20) and took a firm grip of the position in the next round of Challenege Cup. Next week in Murska Sobota (sLOVEinia) the home team has to be better by 3-0 or by 3-1 to move the final solution inbthe so called golden set.
In Akaa, Slovenias were really agressive in their serves and challenged the home team seriously time to time. In their home arena - what will be happening? Can Akaa-Volley keep its dominance in attacks? We'll see...
Anyhow, in Akaa we saw two teams with quite a different efficiency in attacks. While the most efficient in Pomgrad was Sani Adzovic by 9/+2 in Akaa-Volley we had Jaylen Jasper by 15/+9, Antti Taponen by 10/+8 and Niklas Sppänen by 9/+2.
